Bayfidan is a versatile product widely used in both vineyards and vegetable crops. Previously a mainstay of most vineyards’ powdery mildew programs. Bayfidan is now mostly used as a cost-effective tactical option with the advantage that it can be used throughout the season (but check the relevant withholding periods or with your winery if you’re using it late).
Bayfidan is registered to control powdery mildew in cucurbits as well as tomatoes, peppers (both capsicums and chillies), eggplants and papaws. It also provides systemic control of ring spot on cabbages, cauliflowers, broccoli and brussels sprouts – and even pineapple disease of sugar cane.
