Forester Telescopic Pole Saw

The Forester is a lightweight, telescopic oval-shaped pole saw.  The colour makes it easy to see if left outside and the weight means anybody can use it.  It is even light enough to climb with.  The blade length is 38cms and is not able to be sharpened because it has been impulse hardened on the cutting tips.  For the average home gardener you will probably never replace this blade in your lifetime.

Description

Forester 3.0 and 4.5 metre Telescopic Pole Saws are an oval shape for added strength.

4.5 metre available in store.  3.0 metre can be ordered in if that is your preference.

The Forester blades are impulse-hardened curved blades with MIRAI-ME style teeth (Smooth Cutting technology) – The Teeth of the Future!

The precision-ground, razor-sharp teeth provide a fast, clean and extremely smooth cutting action. The branch will appear as though you have given it a light sand after you finished cutting. The taper-ground profile reduces friction and allows the teeth to create a larger hole than the blade, so in effect the only thing that needs to touch the branch is the teeth, making your cutting strokes easier and faster. The curve of the blade is ideal for pruning branches in a high or low position. A black rigid-plastic blade cover is included, which locks onto the blade for added protection.

FORESTER pole saws are oval-shaped, providing precise control over the direction of the blade (especially important for high cutting) and reducing pressure on the pole which causes bends and breakages. They have two locking systems to assure structural rigidity of the extended poles. They not only have pins/buttons that lock each pole together but also have friction clamps which squeeze the poles together. This dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade which is metres away. They also protect the other locking system from getting damaged. Spring-loaded locking buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. The base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and award winning GOM rubber handle. All parts are replaceable and available.
